Teachings

The foundation under the tools

Every worksheet on this site rests on a claim about what is true. This is where those claims get stated out loud instead of assumed.

Stewardship

Ownership is a loan

If what you have was entrusted rather than earned outright, the question changes from “what do I want” to “what is this for.” That single shift resolves most budgeting arguments before they start.

Order

Drift is a decision made slowly

No one chooses a wasted decade. They choose a hundred small defaults, each defensible on its own, that add up to one. Systems exist to make the good choice the default choice.

Household

A family needs a written constitution

Values that are written down settle arguments. Values that stay unspoken get renegotiated every week by whoever is most tired or most insistent.

Work

Diligence is not the same as hurry

Scripture praises the steady hand and warns about the one chasing quick money. Most modern financial anxiety is hurry wearing the costume of ambition.

Generosity

Giving is a capacity, not a leftover

If generosity is what happens after everything else is funded, it never happens. Build it into the structure and it survives the bad months.

Truth

Discernment is a household skill

Your family will be sold something every day of its life. Teaching people how to evaluate a claim is worth more than protecting them from any single one.

Longer written teachings and video are added here over time. The email list gets them first.
